For the last 15 years I have taught technical knitting to MA knitted textiles and knitwear students at the Royal College of Art. I have learnt so much from my students and for the first time in my career I have decided to offer private one to one tuition, to anyone who would like to learn to knit on a Dubied hand flat knitting machine, link on a Complett linking machine or create and calculate knitting patterns.

Learn to knit a wide variety of structures on a Dubied hand Flat knitting machine. From the basics to more time consuming needle transfer and holding techniques.
If you are an experienced knitter, I offer inlay and auto cam tuition.

Knowing how to finish your knitting is as important as how it is knitted. Linking is a core skill needed to create beautifully finished knitting.
There are so many ways to use linking within your designs, it’s not just for sandwich trims!
